Founding Napa
Nathan Coombs traveled the Oregon Trail to California and helped create the City of Napa, providing a home for Coombs & Dunlap, LLP.

Coombs & Dunlap, LLP
Frank Coombs, son of pioneer Nathan Coombs, founded the firm to bring trusted legal counsel to the growing Napa Valley community. His son, Nathan, and great-nephews Frank and John Dunlap, later joined as partners.

Expansion Up Valley
As Napa Valley grew, so did we, opening a second office in St. Helena, extending our legal counsel to clients throughout the Up Valley communities.
